Separate Group Classes for Girls and Boys starting on Saturday 17th April 2021

My name Is Vicki & I have just recently taken on the role of Junior Convenor at Dungannon Golf Club. As I am sure most of you know – we now have a new pro at Dungannon Sean Morrison.

Sean and I are keen to get the Junior Academy up and running, and subject to final sign-off by the NI Executive, we plan to start on Saturday 17th April (weather permitting of course as we have to be outdoors).

You should be aware of some changes to the set up this year:

1. The BIG news is that we will have separate classes for Girls and Boys. To celebrate the launch of the Girls Only coaching class girls will be allowed to bring a friend for free. Once you have joined Junior Membership and joined the Golf Passport Coaching you will be provided with a unique link to send to the parent/guardian of a friend.

2. To attend the Junior Academy you must be a member of Dungannon Golf Club (Junior Membership starts at £21). If you have not joined as a Junior Member you can do so here.

3. We are rejoining the Golf Passport Scheme this year, as Sean and I believe it is an excellent way to teach the fundamentals and monitor the progression of the kids each week.

4.If you have already joined as a member, you can find out more and sign up to the 10 Week Junior Golf Passport here.

5. This year we have decided to split the Academy sessions by age, so there will be a group for 5 – 9 year olds and then a group for 10 – 13 year olds.

6. Our Junior Golf Passport costs just £50 for the 10 one-hour lessons.

Let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to help.
